  • Absolutely! There are always a number of solo Flowgis at our retreats who are eager to group up for activities, day trips and excursions. The yoga sessions, circles, meals, and social spaces are always lively, and there's plenty of opportunity to connect with others. We'll also host several socials/meet-ups at the studio prior to the trip for everyone to get to know each other before we leave.

  • No, we will place guests once we have a full understanding of who is coming to make the most of the available space and accommodate needs. You can provide your preferences (Olivo, Oliveto or Annex, ocean or garden view, shared or private balcony) and we’ll prioritize preferences in order of booking.

  • We can't predict future airfare, but we recommend budgeting between $1000-$1500/person for an international flight from Cleveland to Rome in October, with likely fluctuations in price providing opportunities for better deals over the next 12+ months.

  • We are using all deposits to secure the property, so unfortunately the $750 deposit is non-refundable. Balance payments are refundable as outlined below:

    Balance payments are 100% refundable through March 31, 2027 and 50% refundable through May 31, 2027. Regrettably, no refunds after June 1, 2027. Please purchase travel insurance for unexpected changes to travel plans and added peace of mind.

  • As much as you like! Every activity is 100% optional. We will publish a full itinerary including daily “Go with Flow activities you can join for an amazing adventure, no planning needed. Or schedule a massage, take it easy poolside with a good book, or take a stroll to town or the beach for a chance of scenery. Here’s the typical day:

    9-9:55am Second morning practice (Slow flow or blend)

    10-10:45am Brunch

    10:45-5pm Free time, spa, tennis, pool, excursions, pool time, optional workshops, cultural activities

  • So much. While it’s a yoga retreat, no experience (and frankly, no yoga) is necessary to come and enjoy yourself. Partners, friends, and family members who don’t do yoga are encouraged to try a class, or just join us for free time activities, day trips and meals (and maybe restorative and circle)!

  • Yes, our private chef will prepare a variety of authentic and nutritious Italian dishes from fresh, local ingredients, including humanely sourced meat and seafood. We will collect information on food preferences, restrictions and allergies and shape our menu accordingly. Our chef is eager to accommodate your needs.

  • We are committed to providing choice for guests, whether you prefer an alcohol-free experience or to enjoy the award-winning local wines, beers, and spirits. We’ll offer a variety of beverage options with every meal, and there is a selection of local wines available for purchase in the kitchen throughout our stay.

  • Italy uses 230 V Type L (three prongs in a row) and Type C (two thin round prongs) outlets. Please bring adaptors for charging your devices.

    There is wifi throughout the estate and there are televisions in every bedroom.

  • You can get by without it and will get the best exchange rate if you use a credit card, but a little cash for day trips, and for tipping after spa treatments and excursions is appropriate. You can get it at the airport when you arrive.

    Note: tipping at restaurants is not customary or necessary. Tipping 10-15% on spa services is appropriate.
